I’m building a free, community-centered home for tech in Southeast LA.
I created SELA Tech Hub to be a free or nearly free resource for Southeast Los Angeles. Instead of relying on student tuition, I seek grants, sponsorships, and community funding to cover space, equipment, and program costs. I offer coding education, robotics classes, and a community workspace as part of a broader effort to build a local tech ecosystem.
SELA Tech Hub is my way of bringing high-quality tech education and resources to Southeast LA without putting the burden on individual students. I raise funds for space, supplies, and equipment so I can offer coding, robotics, and community programs at no cost to local residents.
What makes us different is our commitment to the local community. We focus on a partner-funded model that removes financial barriers, small cohorts that allow for real mentorship, and building long-term relationships that support you throughout your entire career journey.
"My mission is to ensure that the future of tech is built by us, for us, right here in Southeast LA, without cost being a barrier."
