Our Mission

Building a tech ecosystem in the Gateway Cities.

SELA Tech Hub exists to expand economic mobility in Southeast Los Angeles by providing accessible workspace and practical training through coding bootcamps, courses on AI, and robotics workshops.

Learn.Build.Work.Belong.

Southeast LA has talent, ambition, and creativity, but the tech industry has yet to arrive in our backyard. For too long, people who want to learn to code, explore AI, or build hands-on projects have had to look elsewhere for the workspace and support they need. No local co-working spots. No consistent tech meetups. Limited mentorship. Few places designed for focused work. As technology reshapes every industry, we are closing this gap by building the infrastructure for a local tech ecosystem.

SELA Tech Hub is a welcoming home for builders. We combine a comfortable co-working space with structured, project-based learning so people can gain skills that connect to real jobs and real life. Whether you are changing careers, starting from scratch, coming back to learning after time away, or simply curious about technology, we are here to help you move from interest to ability to confidence.

What we offer is simple and practical: a place to show up, a pathway to learn, and people who have your back. We teach coding fundamentals, applied AI skills, and robotics through hands-on projects, not just lectures, so you leave with real proof of what you can do. We also support older adults with digital literacy, helping them use technology and AI safely and effectively for everyday life like appointments, services, communication, and learning.

Our goal is to empower our community to lead a local ecosystem where innovation happens right here, turning Southeast Los Angeles into a destination for builders and thinkers.
